Below Deck season finale clip teases Ben and Kate clashing
Most receivers have either preamp-in and preamp-out connections or tape monitor connections. In most cases, these are the best way to connect an equalizer to your stereo. Connecting to the tape monitor channels will require connection to only your receiver. Learn how to hook up an equalizer to the receiver instead. To run a signal from your stereo receiver to the equalizer and then to your amplifier, you will need 2 sets of RCA cable the same kind that is usually used to connect source components like turntables and CD players. The length of the RCA cables should match the length of the distance between the receiver and the equalizer. Connect one pair of cables to the pre-amp output channels on the receiver and the other end of the cable to the left and right channel inputs on the equalizer. You will usually find these channels on the rear of the equalizer. Right channel jacks will usually take the red colored RCA plug while left channel should take white or black RCA plugs.

Type: shipwreck, barge Sunk: March foundered under tow Depth: 60 ft. This medium-sized crane barge sank under tow in March The barge is upside-down, but propped up at a 30 degree angle by the crane, rising 30 feet off the bottom at the highest point.
A maintenance inspection b. A safety and operational inspection The maintenance inspection is geared more to preventative maintenance and identifying those items requiring repairs that will prevent the crane from being in a like new condition or from operating correctly, such as oxidized or cracking paint, sheet metal damage, track pad wear, track roller wear, rubber tire wear, oil levels, oil changes, etc.
The Equipment Superintendent or his representative usually performs this inspection. The safety and operational inspection, on the other hand is more concerned with identifying those items that will either stop a lift during the middle of an operation such as a worn sheave bearing that could freezes to it’s shaft or those items that could possibly lead to a component failure and an accident such as a hoist line with broken wires or a bent boom lacing.
For example, this inspection would not be as concerned with tire wear because all lifts are required to take place on outriggers. However, excessive tire wear would be noted on the inspection report. Both inspections can be and sometimes are done by the same inspection party, but this procedure is geared to the safety and operational inspection and assumes that someone else will complete the maintenance inspection.
Cranes should be visually inspected by “a qualified person”. A qualified person being someone who by virtue of his education and experience is knowledgeable about cranes, crane maintenance and rigging operations. Cranes should be inspected per the crane manufactures recommendations and rigging procedures. This means that the crane must be assembled with components specified by the manufacture and using his assembly procedures. Cranes should be visually inspected per good rigging practices and Industry standards.
Listed below are the most important items to inspect on a conventional crawler or truck crane and some wear tolerances:

Mail us Below Deck Lifting Conbit offers below deck lifting as an alternative to heavy-lift vessels, crane vessels and jack-up barges for the installation of modules at locations that are difficult to reach on offshore platforms. Conbit has developed special lifting solutions suitable for offshore environments. Our engineers and offshore teams can complete installation projects below deck.
Please have a look at our case-studies. Below-deck lifting is sometimes necessary because traditional cranes cannot get a crane hook underneath a deck. With traditional crane-type solutions, part of the deck needs to be removed so that the load can be lifted. Another option is to position the crane boom under the deck; however, there may be insufficient lifting height to do this. Temporary lifting solutions enable Conbit to lift medium-sized modules 1 — tonnes under decks. Offshore lifting, directly from a supply vessel, is one of the services we offer.
Did Adam and Hannah actually hook up on Below Deck Mediterranean?
When the group of youngster yachties hit the town, what does she do? How does she really feel about the on-boat romances springing up? And does she make bets about who she thinks will hook up?
Happy Tree Friends is an animated flash series created and developed by Aubrey Ankrum, Rhode Montijo, Kenn Navarro and Warren Graff for Mondo Media. A total of five seasons of the series have been released: 4 seasons on the internet, and 1 season on television. In , the crew began the series with two pilot episodes.
Everyone wants to be a fly on the wall of a vacation they could never afford — but this is not that. In fact, it’s one of Bravo’s most exhausting but fun to watch shows. The series follows the yacht’s hard-working crew as close quarters battle against a lack of sleep and a high stress workplace to fuel fights so explosive, they put the Real Housewives of New Jersey to shame and Teresa Giudice has served hard time , so you know it’s serious.
It’s almost hard to believe that the drama — from the demanding guests to the myriad of co-worker hookups — is actually legitimate, but in reality, the world of professional yachting may be even more explosive than what’s seen on the show. A boat by any other name is just as expensive Bravo There’s no doubt that the yachts on Below Deck are impressive, but the vessels and the crew may not be exactly what they seem.
In , when the series had just debuted on Bravo, co-executive producer Rebecca Taylor gave yachting news site The Triton the low down on Below Deck’s lavish boats. Taylor, who pitched the idea for Below Deck after spending “three summers working on yachts” during college, searched for a yacht and charter guests willing to appear on TV.
According to The Triton, the boats were renamed for the series. Mustang Sally, which appeared in Season 3, was renamed Eros. Cuor di Leone, which appeared in Season 1, was dubbed Honor.

He wound up quitting a few episodes in, to everyone’s total lack of interest. While we think featuring an engineer prominently in the cast would be interesting, it’s probably for the best that at least a few crew members are solely focused on doing their job and not filming. They get to share in the tip, but probably have to deal with far less drama than their on-screen counterparts. Also, the producers take into account what experience people have when casting so they can place them in the proper department on the boat.
So, when someone lies on their resume, it can really gum up the works. Take Andrew Sturby, for instance. You might remember him as the deckhand who couldn’t tie a single knot and left the porthole in his cabin open that’s a giant no-no — get saltwater on the interior and irreparable and expensive damage occurs.
He claimed to have several years of yachting experience, but there’s just no way to fake it. Adam crashed so hard he was fired by the fourth episode. To his credit, he publicly acknowledged the fact that he lied and that it was wrong. This allows for more organic stories and relationships to develop, and, in general, keeps the show feeling authentic. It also obviously makes for more drama behind the scenes as people who don’t know each other try to figure out how to work with each other in a cramped, stressful environment.
It doesn’t always work, though.

Books Why Ventilate Your Boat? Unattended boats generate humidity and moisture below because of water, air, and hull surface temperatures that are never identical and always changing. While true even in a “dry” climate, this process accelerates in a humid climate and in cold water. When you ventilate your boat, you want to do more than simply move air — you want to equalize the humidity levels inside and outside the boat, including areas between hulls, behind paneling and other enclosed areas that you don’t normally see.
When you close off your boat’s cabin to “protect” it from humidity, you may actually cause the humidity level below deck to rise. And no matter where your boat is docked, humidity and temperature levels vary, and there is a differential between air temperature and water temperature that’s constantly changing. When there is a difference in temperature, moisture forms. You see this happen in a rainstorm, when a hot air mass and a cold air mass meet, reducing the humidity in the atmosphere into water, or rain.
Although not as extreme, the same phenomenon is constantly taking place on your boat, due to the temperature difference between the cabin which is affected by water temperature and heat build-up during the day and the air temperature outside. It is that humidity or condensation in the cabin that will do the most damage. Over a relatively short period of time — just a few days or a few weeks at most — moisture inside the boat creates an ideal atmosphere for various molds and fungi to grow.
Not only are mold, mildew, and musty air unpleasant, but they can damage your boat’s interior wood surfaces, fabrics, electronics, and metal components, as well as make you and your guests sick.
Ladies First: 31 Female Rappers Who Changed Hip-Hop

A tugboat is a wonderful thing. Lacking the majestic height of a sailing ship or the fearsome rake of a warship, its appeal is found in its compact power. Among ships it is the wiry, constantly moving, 5 foot 8 inch basketball guard or the explosive, high leaping 85 pound gymnast: it isn’t supposed to be able to do what it does, but nothing can equal its ability.
Hip-hop is a tough game in which only the best survive. From the early days of the male-dominated genre, female rappers have proved that women, though few in numbers, are fearless, strong especially when unified and are not only capable of standing as tall as the next man but also of outshining them. Many female rhymers, from Queen Latifah to Nicki Minaj, have destroyed the proverbial glass ceiling to become legends in their own right. In celebration of women’s history month, we’re spotlighting 31 of the greatest female rappers of all time over a day series, kicking off with an interview with MC Lyte.

This shot shows her in a pool of water, as the foam rushes down and covers her body while she calmly waits. Ship Life – Grub on the High Seas Crazy Monkey What happens in the Crew Bar Stays in the Crew Bar so true, I wrote an article on Onboard relationships, it is like a fast forward button, one night in the crew bar, then your cabin, and you have a relationship for the duration of the contract, some call it mistress others call it house mouse, so many terms so many things happen down there my motto: We are the men and woman serving on the Seven Oceans, the men and woman who carry the flag of convenience, this is our life, a life on its own, a life only we will understand, a secret society, this is our family, our memories, the men and woman serving the Seven Oceans I can only smile when i read this article if only they knew what goes on: This is only our privilege our society.
On that ship the crew is not limited to decks 2, 3 and 4 as is the case on others, crew cabins go from deck 2 all the way up to deck 14, regardless or nationality, rank or department. Life on the seven seas is not always the best or the easiest and i think the Crews Lines should ensure that the crew is happy and not segregated.
Go Team Epic for your great environment!!!! Isabel Hernandez darkness i should feel sorry for the entertainer at this point? Everyone working on a ship would know what I mean. Canuck Valentino … Yep!! And, having worked on 14 different RCCL ships during the past 10 years, I have never seen a communal bathroom or shower on any deck. I did many, many cabin inspections and was privy to all cabins, and, just no. Maximum 2 person cabins with their own bathroom.
